On Friday, August 22nd we had a play date at my sweet friend Eva’s house. She is a friend from college and our kids are the same age. Elijah is 10 days older than Caroline, and Paisley is 2 months younger than Caroline. My friend Layla and her sweet girl Reagan joined us. Reagan is 2 ½ weeks younger than Caroline and they are expecting baby Reese around Thanksgiving. What a joy it is to have friends with children close in age to your own that you can share parenting’s ups and downs with. (There are many more ups than downs, but let’s face it, it’s not always easy!)
