Picking Peaches

On Monday Caroline picked peaches for the first time and had a blast! Caroline, Daniel and I went with my mom, sister and nieces.

The drive out there wasn't too much fun (fortunately it wasn't too far a ride, just off Faulkner Lake Rd in NLR) b/c Daniel screamed practically the whole way. On the way home, it was Caroline's turn to cry and Daniel just sat there quietly. So far they are really good at taking turns! ha

Caroline did a good job picking the peaches: off the trees AND off the ground!

We picked TONS of peaches!!! I don't know how many pounds, but it was enough to basically fill up an icechest. The only problem is that Caroline keeps getting into the icechest and pulling the peaches out! Last night she pulled one out and had brought it into the living room and was saying "wet! wet!", b/c she had squeezed it and juice was everywhere! (Fortunately mama was still at work so daddy got to clean up that mess!)

Even Daniel had a good time picking peaches!
